Expeditions
Field work of the DEGUWA is mainly focussed on research-oriented surveys and excavations, which are carried out under the supervision of archaeologists and other scientists with official permission. The participation of other dive-experienced volunteers is explicitly desired. Precondition for the participation as non-archaeologist is usually the completion of a NAS course, in which the basics of underwater archaeology are tought in theory and practise.
