For the practical part of the seminar the 'Gesellschaft für Schiffsarchäologie' was responsible for mediating the basics of shipwreck survey. At first the methods were presented in theory and subsequently made understandable in practise on a wreck mock-up on the beach. On a steel wreck in a depth of 10 m in the bay of Warnemünde the gained skills were eventually implemented.
